Community Lore Guidelines

Striking Soon is a collective multiplayer story foundry where 15 people write one sentence each to create permanent lore. To keep collaborative storytelling creative and safe, all participants agree to these standards.

✕

1. Prohibited Content & Themes

The following elements are strictly forbidden in story turns and titles:

  • Explicit sexual acts, erotic content, or graphic anatomical depictions.
  • Hate speech, racism, misogyny, or discrimination based on identity or beliefs.
  • Real-world political campaigns, partisan attacks, or polarizing propaganda.
  • Doxxing, harassment, or personal threats directed at other writers.
✓

2. Collaborative Storytelling Etiquette

  • One Sentence Rule: Keep each turn concise, between 5 and 200 characters.
  • Pass the Plot: Honor the tone and genre set by previous writers while advancing the plot.
  • Final Strike Respect: Turn #15 writers should strive to bring the 15-sentence arc to a satisfying climax.
⚡

3. Automated Lore Moderation & Locking

All story turns undergo automated content checks before being accepted into the timeline. When a story reaches 15 turns, it locks automatically and is etched into permanent Striking Soon archives.
