Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026. By accessing Striking Soon, creating a strike, or contributing a story turn, you agree to these legal terms.
1. Collaborative Story Ownership & Licensing
Striking Soon stories are co-authored multiplayer narratives. When you submit an opening strike or a sentence turn, you grant Striking Soon and its community a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, index, distribute, and compile your contribution into locked lore archives and derivative media (including AI storyboards and video animations).
2. Acceptable Conduct & Fair Play
You agree not to submit plagiarized prose, hateful content, abusive spam, or script-driven automated requests. Every turn must represent an original contribution honoring the genre and storyline established by preceding writers. Accounts engaging in disruptive vandalism or vote manipulation will be suspended.
3. Permanent Story Immutability
Once a story reaches 15 sentences, it enters a permanent immutable state in the timeline. Individual sentences cannot be retroactively altered or retracted once locked, as doing so would invalidate the contributions of the other 14 collaborators.
4. Service Availability & Disclaimers
Striking Soon is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we strive for maximum uptime and industry-standard security compliance, we are not liable for accidental data loss or temporary service interruptions.
