Official Lore Rules

Striking Soon is built on simple, unbreakable mechanics: 15 distinct writers create one collective story, sentence by sentence, until it permanently locks into lore.

The 15-Sentence Law

Every strike is strictly limited to 15 sentences. No more, no less. Each participating writer is allocated exactly one turn containing one meaningful sentence (minimum 5 characters, maximum 200 characters). Writers cannot submit consecutive turns in the same strike.

Turn Progression & Roles

Turn #1 • The Story Starter: Establishes the setting, primary character, and initial premise in one evocative sentence.
Turns #2–14 • Story Contributors: Introduce conflict, unexpected plot twists, dialogue, and momentum without breaking continuity.
Turn #15 • The Final Striker: Delivers the narrative climax or resolution. Once submitted, the strike automatically seals.

Permanent Locking & Archival

When turn 15 is recorded, the strike status switches to LOCKED. No further turns can be added. The 15 sentences are compiled into a continuous narrative, permanently preserved in the timeline archives, and made eligible for AI video scene generation.

Voting & Community Consensus

Every registered user can cast upvotes or downvotes on open and locked strikes. Votes dynamically compute trending rankings in the Top Voted timeline filter. Spam upvoting or bot activity results in immediate score deduction and account suspension.
